Snow Bored
Snow Bored There is certainly a freedom flying at high speed down a hill with powder snow, the cold wind that threaten your face with mild frostbite, and your feet tied to a few sticks of wood. The glorification of speed, almost out of control tus the legs to beat the chin hardened against impact, rows of trees and signs at the bottom of the track as on curves is vomiting passengers for food trucks for a trip to top.If you're like me and have skied for years, is the ultimate thrill, and, perhaps, snowboarding, as seems more for the young. I live in the south should not be skiing, and often thought of trying, but do not want to waste a few days after the fall of all leaing a new sport such as surfing the snow. Also, to say the truth, the idea made me un po 'di nervous.A few years ago, while the holiday in Canada, we are lucky to have snow for several days. All day and all night has fallen dust. I could not bear it. I have known. Finally, I surrendered and went and I bought a new snowboard. We a right to the nearest hill. Ok, maybe a little 'too large. I fell, I fell, I fell. E 'un po' of confusion on the move. We were packed and find a small hill. Still too big. Then I finished the little hill I could find and hanging with young children for a day. After one day I began to stroke it. Then the next day was for a larger hill. With the highest hill is the emotion. I began to feel the same emotion I feel when skiing. And there is a new freedom of snowboarding where you can ditch the poles and living with a single stick of wood attached to the foot. Are hooked. There is a great motivation and snowboarding poster that has the title "The key to happiness is freedom and the key to freedom is courage." I'm glad I dug at least enough courage to try the sport. It 'been so worth dt.-Fil JonesPhil is a freelance writer and co-owner, who likes to snowboard.
