The plate Whoa Canada
The plate Whoa Canada U.S. men hockey team was a disaster waiting to happen. Most of them stranded in a snowstorm started before the Games. Many of them were older than 60 years. And were the combination of mental toughness and discipline of former FEMA Director Michael "Brownie" Brown. Who were 1-4-1 in Turin is not a surprise. Keith Tkachuk embarrass himself throughout the touament with the worst hands of Daniel Day Lewis in My Left Foot, Mike Modano and humbled himself complain after your hotel arrangements. They were supposed to suck, and done. But what the hell happened in Canada? I have called Canada the gold again in this same space a couple of weeks ago, and, um, well, not so much. (You may recall, however, told me that Russia and Finland are dramatically understated.) Typical Team Maple Leaf Touament frustrating: the only shot that I saw during the Wayne Gretzky-quarter loss to Canada to Russia on Wednesday Wayne is a suit jacket and tie, spit on the floor of the runway. I think that's better than a picture of him calling his bet. Speaking of age: a retrospective, including Joe Sakic (36), Rob Blake (34) and Adam Foote (34) was a big mistake. Compressed in this touament, the fresh legs, for example, Sidney Crosby and / or Jason Spezza good use sure looked red. Joe Thoton has been a complete disaster, Vincent Lecavalier was hurt, Rick Nash is almost never a stick on the viewfinder and on the retu flight home from Italy Prong Chris was just another penalty. Gretzky and the debacle of the game was certainly a toll. Certainly, the U.S. has been horrible. But, frankly, was terrible in the role, and their best player, literally, was 44 years. Canada, meanwhile, was obviously the best team in this touament, no doubt about that, and I must close three times. Simply incredible. There is evidence (in this space), that the Winter Olympics to be almost a factor of sports betting. This was the case? People at least have been able to stand up to ice hockey? What do you think of North America struggles in this touament? Greg JORSSEN, BoDog.com: The Olympics were not a factor, except for hockey. We did manage a decent game, especially the games room. The games that have received the treatment, the majority, of course, the involvement of the Americans. Unfortunately, most bettors Cree that the Fins to win their quarter against the U.S. The poor play of the Americans in the Round Robin influenced against bettors. Americans collect very old, which is not conducive for large inteational games tracks. As for Canadians, are still scratching their heads with them. The young players do not seem to have the passion and drive that is used to us and showed in their loss to the Swiss and the fins. The Daytona 500 has done anything? Jimmie Johnson was the winning one (relatively) big victory for the books? GJ, BoDog.com: NASCAR does not create the handle would like to see mostly because of the unpredictability of the sport. In football, if the recipient of the blows of his hamstring, will play and the team have a legitimate chance to win. In NASCAR, Tony Stewart, if a tire blows, it is probably over. The Daytona 500 was a lot of crazy things that leads me to believe that Formula One is never enough in a race expected to attract massive neck. As for Jimmie Johnson to win flawed (go, his car was illegally modified), this is a favorable result for the books. I am curious, however, that this controversy will impact on operations from here on Johnson in future races. I think we have our answer by the team at Villanova circles, jump, and UConn, and # 2 this week behind Duke in the survey. How do you see the game at UConn Villanova this weekend? What I hope happens to the books? GJ, BoDog.com: UConn will certainly be in favor, because the house advantage of the court, and the handle are usually favorites at home, I suspect that will always be bigger fans of Villanova this weekend. As I said before, UConn is the best team and will be a step back before 'Nova arrived Monday moing. Last week I asked what College Hoops team could get out of stun people and anywhere, while reaching the Sweet 16. This week, I set my sites a little 'higher. If I had to pick a team that is out of AP Top 16, which stun people and reach the Final Four, LSU would say. And you? GJ, BoDog.com: LSU is once again a solid choice, however, year after year, always tend to retu to the State of Michigan. Izzo has this uncanny ability to get his team focused at the right time and this is a field that is as talented a team as in the past. Maurice Ager currently leads the team in scoring and his hot hand (if enabled) can easily lead the Spartans to the Final Four. Playing with Shannon Brown, and is now and Paul Davis is a constant force in the evening and night, they are my team and I my position on a flight to the pool this year !!!!!
